TAY CHEM DEMULSIFIERS:
The reagent is designed to break oil-water emulsions in the process of production, gathering, transportation, field treatment and desalting of oil.
The reagent is effective in oil gathering systems (track demulsification), pre-discharge systems (PDSV), commercial oil treatment unit (COTU).
TAY CHEM DEMULSIFIERS ARE ADJUSTED TO:
- Improve the quality of oil treatment;
- Prevent the formation of intermediate layers in oil tanks;
- Ensure high quality of water treatment;
- Reduce the amount of petroleum products in water;
- Reduce the amount of chloride salts in commercial oil.
Oil demulsifiers - are surface-active substances that help to prevent the formation, as well as the destruction of already formed emulsions of oil and water. In other words, the reagent allows to separate oil molecules from water molecules.
THE ACTION OF THE CHEMICAL AGENT CAN BE DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
- When added to oil emulsions, the demulsifier replaces the natural emulsifiers in the oil that prevent water and oil from mixing.
- By accumulating on the surface of water droplets (globules), demulsifiers help them attract to each other. As a result, the separated small droplets combine into larger compounds, flakes. This process is called flocculation.
- During flocculation, the film on the surface of the globules breaks down and they coalesce into even larger aggregations. This process is called coalescence.
- Various mechanical impurities contained in the oil (sand, silt, clay, iron particles and mineral salts) collect on the surface of the boundary between the water globules and the oil. Demulsifiers help to remove these admixtures from the oil together with the water.
TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
Tay Chem oil demulsifiers are transported by rail and road, covered transport, in accordance with cargo transportation rules.
Guaranteed storage period is not less than 12 months.
